HISTORY Zenair Ltd has been manufacturing aircraft since 1974. Worldwide, there are over 2000 Zenair aircraft flying in more than 40 countries.   • AIRCRAFT, CIVIL, F/W, TWO ENG OR LESS The Alarus CH 2000 is a low wing trainer aircraft, all metal, side by side seating, with classic powerplant. Zenair received type certification on July 2, 1994. The aircraft has since undergone many changes and up-dates making it one of the few trainer aircraft Certified for IFR and Spins. The aircraft is modern with a large comfortable interior, easy access for both pilots, and has excellent flight characteristics. The structure is all metal, making it ideal to maintain. All components are simple and easy to maintain. The powerplant is classic, using the Lycoming 0235 engine, which has the highest TBO (Time Before Overhaul) in the industry.
