Company Profile

TeTechS Inc. is a leading innovator of advanced terahertz vision sensor technology solutions for industrial and scientific applications. TeTechS draws on the distinctive characteristics of leading-edge terahertz technology to develop unique vision sensor solutions that use terahertz waves to find previously undetectable objects and defects in advanced manufacturing processes. The terahertz vision sensors can see through opaque barriers to make objects and defects behind those barriers visible, and can identify materials in mixtures and composites by resolving their unique spectral signatures. The customers? problems can be solved in ways that cannot be addressed by other technologies such as visible, infrared, and x-ray vision sensors. The company?s target is to become the major terahertz vision sensor technology solutions provider to the industries worldwide.

  • Vega Teraherz Sensor System TeTechS Inc provides sensor technology solutions that uses terahertz waves to find previously undetectable objects and defects in advanced manufacturing processes improving productivity and profitability. TeTechS terahertz vision sensor systems verifies and identifies the presence of materials/features inside enclosures or behind barriers which would typically render their detection difficult if not impossible. TeTechS terahertz vision system solutions can be used in industrial automation lines for non-destructive and non-invasive product inspection and fault analysis applications.

  • Rigel Terahertz Spectrometer The TeTechS RigelTM terahertz spectrometer is an innovative, easy to use, and high performance instrument based on terahertz technology customized for quality control and laboratory test and inspection applications. With no or little sample preparation required, the unknown specimen is placed in the terahertz beam path of the Rigel. The terahertz waveform passes through the specimen and the spectrometer records the difference in the energy of the received versus the transmitted terahertz waveform. The specific absorption signature of the specimen is determined and compared to a database of known materials. The unknown specimen is characterized and identified. Fast and simple characterization of various samples is now available. Because the terahertz waveform passes through the sample, laminate constructions or multilayer structures can also be characterized and identified. The Rigel provides effective analysis of other organics, such as pulp and paper based materials, with and without specialty coatings. Having a Rigel spectrometer in the laboratory or the plant floor will give added analytical resources to better understand what is being processed in the facility.

  • T-Era Terahertz Sensors TeTechS? T-Era photoconductive antenna chips offer new levels of high signal and low noise performance among terahertz sources and terahertz detectors, to achieve superior system dynamic range and discrimination. TeTechS' T-Era THz photoconductive antennas are used to generate and detect electromagnetic waves at the terahertz frequencies for THz spectroscopy, THz sensing, and THz imaging applications. The photoconductive antenna chips are made on novel semiconductor material systems and are packaged inside patent pending enclosure designs, making the chips superior in performance and easy to use. The devices achieve new levels of low noise performance among terahertz sources and detectors, to achieve superior system dynamic range and discrimination.
