Powered by TeraGauge?, MediMeasure is a non-destructive, dimensional profiling system for mono-layer, multi-layer and multi-lumen plastic medical tubes. Until now, plastic medical tube manufacturers have been limited by invasive, destructive and unreliable quality control practices. Currently, samples of tube are carefully cut and measured under a high-resolution microscope but this technique is dependent upon human interpretation and the quality of the cut ? leaving room for errors. MediMeasure leverages the unique characteristics of terahertz technology to quickly and accurately measure the OD, ID, wall thickness, ovality and concentricity of opaque, translucent and transparent plastic medical tubes. Users of MediMeasure can conduct repeatable, accurate dimensional profiles of mono-layer, multi-layer and multi-lumen plastic medical tubes in a matter of seconds to ultimately save time, reduce costs, minimize errors, and improve customer satisfaction.

Multi-layer thickness measurement is just one of its many applications and is most pertinent to the plastic bottle/container industry. Powered by TeraGauge?, PlastiMeasure is a non-destructive, multi-layer thickness measurement system for plastic bottles, containers and thin wall packaging. Until now, plastic bottle and container manufacturers have been limited by invasive and/or destructive quality control practices. On the one hand, techniques such as use of the Hall effect are only capable of measuring overall thickness ? something that is insufficient when base and barrier layers are involved. On the other hand, the manual cutting and measuring of plastic bottles is destructive, wasteful and susceptible to human error. PlastiMeasure leverages the unique characteristics of terahertz technology to non-destructively measures base versus barrier layer thickness in both opaque and translucent plastics in a matter of seconds.

  • Terahertz Measurement Kit TeTechS? terahertz measurement kit is used by researchers to custom build their terahertz time-domain measurement setups. Complete with the highest quality components such as a Toptica femto-second laser and TeTechS? photoconductive antennas, the kit allows for optimal realization of transmission and reflection measurement configurations. This selection of components has been extensively tested and designed to save researchers time and money while also providing them with the flexibility to choose the right set of components to fit their specific measurement needs.
