UltraFit Manufacturing is a full service contract manufacturer of Complex Custom Bent Tubular Products. We have extensive experience with Aluminized, Cold Rolled (CRS) and Stainless Steel tubing from 1/2" to 4" in diameter using both compression and mandrel bending. Over 20 years experience in producing a broad range of Complex Custom Manufactured Tubular Products for the Automotive Aftermarket, as well as the OEM and Medical Industries. UltraFit purchases and processes several million feet of tube each year. We excel at short and medium production run, short lead-time bending projects. Experienced Engineering and Project Management staff. ISO 9001:2000 certified and actively working toward QS9000 certification by mid 2003. Vertically integrated through long-term relationships with off- site tube mills and secondary operations suppliers (i.e. Painters, Platers, and Polishers, etc.). Our Operational Capabilities are outlined below: 1) Short and medium production runs, from 50 to several thousand pieces, in our niche. 2) From less than 1.0” to 4.0” diameter and 0.044” to 0.250” wall thickness tubular Aluminized, CRS, or Stainless Steel. 3) State of the art CNC Tube and Pipe bending equipment for close tolerance requirements. 4) High speed Multi-Stack Machines for compound bend-on-bend components. 5) Push Assist Mandrel Bending for tight bending radii to 1D bends. 6) Prototype bending with in-house Engineering and Customer Support. 7) 67,000 sq. foot manufacturing plant with over 80 employees on 2 shifts with capacity to expand to a 3rd shift. Our equipment: Cutting - High Production Shear, Roll, Bandsaw and Cold Saw cutting to pre-determined production lengths. Bending - A Total of 9 CNC benders from Adaptive Motion Control and McKee Addison. Mandrel Bending on Multi-Stack Electric Bend Head Machines with Push Assist. Finishing - Flaring, Notching, Drilling, Plasma Nipping and Bulldozing can be done in house with a variety of UltraFit equipment. Welding - Manual MIG and TIG Welding as well as Automatic Circular MIG Welding. Polishing, Painting and Powder Coating to be performed by certified subcontract vendors. UltraFit welcomes the opportunity to offer Project Management from raw material through to fabrication and assembly. Products will be bundled and crated to your needs including individual tube UPC labeling if required for inventory control. Shipping can be accommodated on a daily basis or to customer production schedule. - 99.8% on time fill rate
