Products/Services

  • Telehealth CardioComm Solutions, Inc. is dedicated to becoming a leader in cardiology and continues to develop new and exciting technology to manage the cardiac patient into the 21st century.

  • GEMS: Global ECG Managment System The GEMS software provides an integrated data management system for all diagnostic, medical, procedural, and surgical events that are performed by cardiac services. Powerful database software for storing ECG records means GEMS can be used for all ECG data storage applications - arrhythmia monitoring, event monitoring Auto-Answer capabilities, pacemaker or ICD follow-up and ischemia (ST segment) monitoring. GEMS modular design allows a customized system to be delivered to the customer. If a facility only provides certain services (i.e. pacemaker clinic) or performs specific procedures (i.e. exercise tests) they will receive the modules they need. This makes GEMS adaptable for any facility whether it is a physician's office, pacemaker clinic, hospital, or network of healthcare organizations. GEMS stores ECGs from different manufacturer's ECG devices. GEMS' open architecture is attractive to manufacturers of ECG devices because the entire power of the software package is accessible by CardioComm Solutions, Inc. writing a straightforward driver to integrate the new device with GEMS.

  • HeartCheck™ Handheld ECG Monitors As an FDA, ISO, CE and HPB compliant company, CardioComm Solutions, Inc. has launched the release of the HeartCheck™ to extend the ease by which regular patient ECG monitoring can be achieved. The HeartCheck™ Handheld ECG Monitor is FDA approved for use within a physician's office and can support an OHIP billing (Ontario only) for an ECG event recorder use. Each HeartCheck™ Handheld ECG Monitor can hold up to 200 x 30 second ECGs and is simple to use. The device is approved for use in Canada and allows physicians to do as may ECGs as needed while patients are waiting for appointment times in office. It only takes 30 seconds for a high quality ECG and a few minutes to upload to a computer to generate an ECG report.

  • GEMSTrak AF™- Cardiac Event Recorder with Atrial Fibrillation Auto-Capture Universal Medical, Inc. took the proven form, function, and technology found in the Heartrak Smart "family" of event recorders and added the SMART AF algorithm to increase the diagnostic yield of patient monitoring. In addition to symptomatic events recorded by the patient, GEMSTrak AF automatically records asymptomatic ECG data without patient involvement. GEMSTrak AF uses accurate, embedded algorithms to detect and record episodes of Atrial Fibrillation, Bradycardia, and Tachycardia. The ECG data that GEMSTrak AF provides can help physicians with early diagnosis and treatment of illusive arrhythmias. GEMSTrak AF is a comfortable and convenient monitor for patients to wear and use during day-to-day activities. The recorder's extended memory and programming options offer the physician flexible set-up and configuration.

  • C4™ Coordinating Centre for Cardiac Event Loop Monitoring As one of the leading providers of ECG management services in North America, CardioComm Solutions, Inc. has made it clinically reliable for physicians and clinics to offer their patients Event Loop Recording services through their own offices. The C4 Call center provides a help centre for patients, remote alerts to the treating physician or clinic, full ECG reporting, and data storage and retrieval. In addition, the C4 can provide interpretation services as well as manage OHIP billings. Expansion to support multiple biometric parameters and devices such as handheld ECG device for wireless home monitoring (HeartCheck™ OEM Devices) coming in 2012.
