  • CONSULTING ENGINEER - FOREST/FISH/AGRLTR-IRRIGATION Fisheries assessments include the inventory, description and interpretataion of function of fish communities and habitat within different setttings that include watercourses, agricultural drains, ponds and wetlands. Fisheries assessments are typically carried out for environmental assessments, environmental impact studies, subwatershed and secondary plan and monitoring studies. Fisheries assessments are carried out to satisfy the regulatory requirements to identify and determine the loss of fish habitat associated with a project and the subsequent requirement for mitigation or fish habitat compensation as part of the project approval.
